Viti Levu

Viti Levu

By far the largest of Fiji's islands, Viti Levu is the political, administrative and commercial capital of Fiji, and also the arrival point for virtually every traveller to the islands. With this size comes the ability to showcase everything Fiji has to offer.

In the larger cities of Suva, Lautoka & Nadi it's as close as Fiji gets to traditional urban landscapes, but the remainder of the island is very much the Fiji people expect to see. The west features Denarau and the jumping off points for the Mamanucas, while the southern coastline has the Coral Coast and many of the wonderful activities for which Fiji is renowned.

Inland, mountains, rivers, waterfalls and agricultural communities dominate the landscape, giving numerous opportunities for travellers to experience the real Fiji, away from the sun and sand of the resorts.
