PT 109 Restaurant
The PT-109 Bar & Restaurant is a Gizo landmark and one of the legendary watering holes of the South Pacific. It's name is derived from the World War II US torpedo boat commanded by John F. Kennedy that was rammed and sunk nearby by a Japanese destroyer. A blackboard displays a few simple dishes, such as fish and chips or burgers, as well as lobster.
